The Forest Ranger’s House is located in the idyllic courtyard of Kuopan Tila, just a stone’s throw from the pristine nature of Ylläs.
With 127 m² of space, the house comfortably accommodates six guests – a perfect choice for couples, families, or a small group of friends.
The large yard invites you to enjoy the outdoors, and after a day of adventures you can relax in the gentle heat of the traditional log sauna.
A clear natural spring offers a refreshing dip all year round.
Breakfast (15 €/person) and traditional sautéed reindeer (25 €/person) can be ordered in advance from our own kitchen.

THE FOREST RANGER’S HOUSE
The kitchen is well and fully equipped, and the dining area comfortably seats four people.
In addition, the house has a separate dining room where you can enjoy good food and moments together.
The spacious and atmospheric living room invites you to relax by the fireplace after a day outdoors.
From the dining area, you can admire beautiful views of the Ylläs fells – a place where the peace of Lapland meets the warmth of home.
Sauna & Ice Swimming in Ylläs
In the courtyard of Kuopan Tila you’ll find an authentic, traditional wood-heated log sauna — and a clear natural spring perfect for an invigorating dip.
You can book the sauna and ice swimming for private use:
Weekdays and Saturdays from 3 PM to 5 PM, €250. Extra hours €100/hour.
The sauna is best suited for 1–6 people at a time.
Ice swimming is available daily from 11 AM to 5 PM.
You can take a dip at any time during our opening hours – €5/person.
